When I say games, I mainly mean role-playing games. I am a member of the Role-Playing Games Network, which provides structured games for play at conventions. Several of the games are set up such that you can create a character and play him or her in a series of games, gaining experience and items along the way. The biggest campaign is Living City, which uses Advanced Dungeons & Dragons rules, and takes place in the Forgotten Realms. Another is Virtual Seattle, using FASA's Shadowrun game.
However, my all-time favorite RPG is Torg, because of its elegant game system and compelling storyline. The publisher, West End Games, is unfortunately currently having a brush with bankruptcy, but plan to release Second Edition Torg at GenCon in August 2000.
This is the home of the Torg WebRing, so step inside and take a look at all the Torg resources on the Internet.
