Roughshod came to Seattle from the Sioux nation in order to make lots of money. So far, she hasn't been overly successful, but it'll come in time. She had a stint with Aztechnology when she first arrived, but broke with them when it became obvious that her paycheck was not going to be to her liking anytime soon.
One of her best friends, that she made after resigning, was the ork rigger known as Roach. He helped get her integrated into the underground rigger society, and taught her a few tricks in shadowrunning. When he got his head blown off while riggig Claudia's van during a job, he left his Doberman drone to Roughshod. Roughshod learned a valuable lesson from this: vehicle armor is good. Her Bulldog step van has plenty of it.
