You can use this page to help you select your stats for a Living City character; I've also included an option to change the number of allowed points so you can use it with the other options listed in the DMG.
It's pretty basic now, and unfortunately only works with IE 4 or higher (in general; it also works for me in iCab). For some reason, I can't get it to work with Netscape Navigator as well. Sorry about that.
It is now rewritten to handle more than one level of a class; you can select up to four separate classes for a particular character. There are some caveats, in that it gives the PC max hit points at first level, and 75% (rounded down) for each additional level - this is close to how LC does it, LC also gives max at second level. There may also be some obscure cases in which it will not give the correct answer - but it is right in the great majority of cases. It also doesn't handle spellcasting level additions from prestige classes such as Loremaster - that's not difficult to do manually, however. Extra skill points and feats for certain races are handled, as are saving throw bonuses for paladins and halflings. Stat gains based on level are not calculated in. Classes have a lot more features, however, that you may need to be aware of.
I've included the other (non-LC-legal) races from the Forgotten Realms Campaign Guide; perhaps that might help out in a home campaign.
Select the options below to choose your stats (including the number of stat points to use).
Living City is a trademark of Wizards of the Coast.
It's used without permission, but I'm certainly not using it with any
malicious intent. Hope they don't sue! ![]()
