Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
Brown papper packages tied up with strings
These are a few of my favorite things
Cream colored ponies and crisp apple strudels
Doorbells and sleigh bells and snitzel with noodles
Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings
These are a few of my favorite things
Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes
Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eye-lashes
Silver white winters that melt into springs
These are a few of my favorite things
When the dog bites, when the bee stings, when I'm feeling sad
I simply remember my favorite things and then I don't feel so bad...
Here, as the song from "The Sound of Music" goes, are a few of my favorite things. Links are included if possible. (A lot of my favorite things are on the other pages of this site, and not repeated here...)
First, you just have to go visit The Onion, a humor newspaper based in Madison, Wisconsin. It's hilarious!
I never go anywhere without my Victorinox Swiss Army Knife. How about you?
Oh yeah, and White Castle makes some of the best fast food I've eaten. Try them out today!
I like science fiction and fantasy books the most; these include authors like Robert A. Heinlein, Anne McCaffrey, Roger Zelazny, Arthur C. Clarke, Debra Doyle/James Macdonald, Joel Rosenberg, and Stephen R. Donaldson. In the past year or so, I've been reading some E. E. "Doc" Smith, Gordon R. Dickson and Poul Anderson too. But I don't know about links to pages about these.
Following are just a few of my favorite comics, with links if possible.
I'm something of a comic strip junkie, and select my physical newspaper based on the comic strips it carries. Still, it doesn't carry everything...
